Train Station Wernigerode is 15 km from Gasthof „Zum Schloss“. The nearest airport is Celle Air Base Airport, 113 km from the accommodation.
Sightseeing is possible in nearest Harz cities Wernigerode, UNESCO world heritage Quedlinburg, Goslar and Bad Harzburg. For enjoying nature you can go to the Harz National Park.

„Eat, drink & be merry together“ – that is the motto of this guesthouse.
The menu features traditional German cuisine. In addition to beef roulades, schnitzel and duck leg, there are changing specials: How about a beer steak, for example, and a quark cloud for dessert? Our cabbage roulades and goulash are particularly popular. And of course the classic on the menu: Heinz‘ Snirtje roast, brought from the north and refined in the Harz mountains.
